SEVEN CAVES COCKTAIL RECIPES

Once you bring a bottle of Seven Caves home, we invite you to enjoy the spirit in a variety of delicious ways. Keep checking back, because we're always adding new, creative and seasonal cocktail recipes.

make it at home:

Step 1: Drop 1 raw sugar cube into a nice old fashioned glass
Step 2: Add 2 dashes cherry bitters
Step 3: Add 2 dashes orange bitters on the cube
Step 4: Let it mellow for a bit, then add 1 Luxardo Cherry
Step 5: Smash all that goodness together
Step 6: Add 2 oz of Seven Caves Barrel Aged Rum plus a couple of ice cubes
Step 7: Stir to perfection with a metal spoon.
Step 8: Now, we enjoy!

and pair it with:

If an Old Fashioned is your go to, you're in luck. This cocktail pairs beautifully with bold dishes including Wedge Salads with Blue Cheese Dressing or Barbecue Chicken Wings.

Make it at home:

Step 1: Combine Seven Caves Barrel Aged Rum, lime juice, agave and St. Elizabeth All-Spice Dram in shaker
Step 2: Shake then strain into a glass over fresh ice. 
Step 3: Top with ginger beer
Step 4: Float 4 dashes of bitters on top
Step 5: Garnish with lime wheel and mint sprig
Step 6: It's time to enjoy!

And pair it with:

The ginger beer in your cup pairs deliciously with almost any Asian dish. If you're making it at home, we suggest a Thai Noodle Salad, Shrimp Pad Thai or maybe even Butter Chicken Indian Curry.

Make it at home:

Step 1: Carefully place a few large ice cubes into mixing glass.
Step 2: Pour in 2 oz of Seven Caves Barrel Aged Rum, 1 oz. Carpano Antica Vermouth and 2 dashes Agnostura Bitters.
Step 3: Stir for about 45 seconds
Step 4: Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass, or drink it with a fresh ice cube in an old fashioned glass.
Step 5: Add 1 luxardo cherry to the cocktail
Step 6: As always, enjoy!

And pair it with:

Where's the beef? Hopefully it's on the grill getting ready to be enjoyed with your Seven Caves Samhattan. This drink can stand up to almost any of your favorite grilled meats. A dry rubbed steak? Yes, please!

Make it at home: 

Step 1: Combine all lychee puree, orgeat, lemon juice and bitters
Step 2: Muddle in the Thai Basil
Step 3: Float Seven Caves Barrel Aged rum
Step 4: Garnish with orchid (because why not?)
Step 5: We dare you not to enjoy!

And pair it with: 

We think you should enjoy this lychee treat with sushi and sashimi. The pair is perfectly balanced and amazingly delicious. You will thank us, we know this.

Make it at home:

Step 1: Fill a tall glass with ice
Step 2: Add all ingredients
Step 3: Stir well
Step 4: Enjoy it with a friend!
